Say what?..Animals go to heaven...says Pope Francis

The idea of a special place for the human race has been a gigantic debate between several scholars, theologians, scientist and philosopher. The truth remains that for most Christians, Heaven is real. Though, this belief is personal than collective, the idea of animals going to heaven have not been given much thought as some can conclude that animals don't go to heaven.

In a twist this past week, the Pope has opened yet another controversial chapter, in his own words he said,"One day we will see our animals again in eternity of Christ. Paradise is open to all God’s creatures."

Finding a good Job today in Nigeria is almost as difficult as locating a virgin in Owerri town of IMO state...(Laughs), Yes it is difficult, but somehow we must overcome this challenge and brace up for a better future.

Personally, Yesterday was not really good, several issues caused the terrible mood change from happy to almost crazily mad. I really don't want to dig into so much details, but after taking a look at this photo, I smiled and encouraged myself...and of cos, better days are coming.

Time....An essential Life ingredient.

Time... Time...time... It's been said that time waits for no man. Each day we experience a 24hours fixed routine, all our activities are expected to be planned in a way that each second will count.

Today, on GTB I want to urge us to try as much as possible to utilize our time properly. We are barely having less than 6 weeks to the end of this glorious year, 2014. The question that should ring in your heart this hour is 'Did I utilize my time properly?', if yes, kudos, but if no, you have less than six weeks to make amends.

"Time indeed na money," as the popular African song goes, don't just sit and watch things unfold like you are seeing a Bollywood movie. I am positive that if our time is spent adequately, we would turn out happier, fulfilled and most importantly, Successful..

Accident-Girl crushed to death in Abeokuta

It is rather a sad day for the family of a young girl, identified as Aisha, who was crushed dead by a car on her way to school this evening in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. The car hit the bike that was conveying her to school, and crushed her head, spilling out her brain. The girl is popular in the area where the accident occurred.
                                       
The bike man sustained serious injuries, but little is known about the driver, I just hope he was not driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances. Find the very graphic picture below....

Sad News-An entire Family found dead in their home

Things fell apart for a family, because as we are all celebrating the 54th year of our dear nation, Nigeria, the entire household comprising of a mother and four boys died of a yet to be identified ailment in Ikorodu side of Lagos state. Below is how Vanguard news is reporting it.

mum was making lunch in the kitchen while I watched T.V, the house was filled with aunts and uncles who had come to visit and dad was playing host. Suddenly we heard the shouts from a large crowd on the street and instinctively we all rushed out to find out what was going on. Initially, it was hard to figure out what was happening in the midst of all the people and their different excited voices until we were able to see ahead to where the crowd had gathered around a middle aged man who was stark naked, bleeding from different parts of his body and was seriously pleading for his life, his face covered in tears/blood/sand/.

WARRI — POLICE in Delta State have arrested a man, Michael Akpore of Urhiephron, Ughelli South Local Government Area for reportedly killing his wife, Julie Akpore, 32, over claims of promiscuity.

It is quite sickening when I watch videos, see pictures or read stories of people who are victimized for one reason or the other by members of the public on the pretext that such people have been accused of committing crimes. It is more troubling when such acts are carried out without referring the accused to a court of justice or at least to the police because most times, the allegations are usually false.

Height of Wickedness- Baby found in the Pipe of a Toilet

China- A female student has been implicated in the act of dumping her newly born daughter inside a toilet. According to the report, the baby was bigger than the toilet pipes, so she got stuck in the pipe. Realising this, the student took to her heels. Minutes later, the cry of the baby was heard and rescue work began. See the report after the cut.....
