Day 31- Grace says "I always do my best to be happy everyday"

As I write this second to the last master piece via #31days31epistles, yes, I said second to the last because I still have one more mind blowing experience that will be uploaded later today. Taking a quick reflection on how this project kicked-off, I started getting very emotional, because I initially thought this was not going to be a successful project because of the negative responses received from some friends, but I still pressed on, and as God will have it, we have more write ups-pending, and I promise to share them, maybe not in this program but as the days in 2014 roll by.

Today, out first writer is a dear friend, happily engaged to a man that always places her in cloud 9, lol, you know what I mean, right?. She is always happy around him, and he completes her. She is a medical student, all the way from Russian (note that our blog is going international, it is one step at a time). Grace is a friend that I planned seeing when she came to Nigeria, but one thing led to another and I couldn’t, though, I am sure we shall meet soon, maybe during her wedding next year (prophetically), lol. Ladies and gentlemen, for the second to the last piece via this project I give you. Adedigba Grace.. Enjoy her epistle below.

I am Adedigba Toluwalope Grace, from Oyo State but I reside in Lagos, Engaged to the best man on earth, I am currently a 4th year medical student at kursk state medical university in kursk, Russia.

I am so privileged and grateful to be part of this epistle.

The last six months have been very challenging to me, so many things occurred in different phases.

January 2014 was the first January that i would really spend with my family after so many years been out of the country. It was really fun for me, i had to make myself enjoy every bit because i might not have the opportunity again until i finish from the medical school. God has been so wonderful to me, my family and friends.

Medical peeps in Russia.......Happy People
February 2014,i got promoted to another phase of medical school, medical school no be beans ooo...and this stage is really the crucial  stage of becoming a well-qualified doctor...As i was travelling back to school i determined to give it what it takes but lo and behold i was favored with my teachers and even the patients, Russia is one of the most Racist country in the world. Its racism does affect we the medical students because we have to interact with the patients to get their medical history, diagnose and treat them, then you submit to your supervisor so that you can be awarded marks, but sometimes you can be unfortunate to meet a racist patient that wouldn't want to interact with you not even disclose his/her health status to you, now how would you submit your diagnosis for you to be awarded marks. But my own case have been so different, because I have been favored to meet the exceptional once who seem to like Blacks and that has made so much contributions to my career.

April 21st 2014 marks 3 years my mum died and that same day i also lost a very special Aunt of mine, it was hell for me, two Angels left same day. God really comforted me because without his comfort i can’t imagine how my life would be without them.

I started exams May 2014 and ended June 2014,the exams went well, i have 2 months of working temporally in an hospital without been paid, that’s the worst part but its compulsory. I pray i also get a good doctor to work with...After that, few weeks holiday to rest my head before another semester starts.

I always do my best to be happy every day of my existence here on earth, and i also think everyone should also adopt the same motive, so that the world can be a better place for us all....
Always happy...the Couple..

Thank you for reading my epistle, and also thank you Prince for giving me this opportunity, I pray we all achieve all our expectations this year before the year runs out...Have fun y'all

Our sexy pretty medical student- Grace
