Some news one hears and shakes his/her head, looks up and says "what type of this", recently read this piece news bad news and decided to share with you.
On Saturday, the 26th of July, 2014, a very poignant situation erupted as a six year old boy was confirmed dead while 16 other members are receiving treatment for suffocation after they inhaled carbon monoxide fumes from a generator. The generator was being used during the worship (thanks to our epileptic power supply) beside the poorly ventilated auditorium belonging to the Young People's Christian Fellowship in Aba, Abia state, Nigeria.
According to eye witnesses, the worshipers were doing their Friday vigil with a generator close-by when they started to collapse one after the other (definitely not the power of the holy spirit). Residents of Eziukwu road where the worship center is located woke up this morning to find the worshipers unconscious. There were initial fears that they had all died but all of them, except a 6 year old boy, recovered in the hospital.
The victims are all on admission at Austine Grace Hospital as well are Goodness & Mercies hospital in Aba and are all said to be responding well to treatment...
P.S- Where is the pastor of the church?, and How come they were all looking at each other till all of them passed out, maybe they thought it was the power of their prayers or being drunk in the spirit, however, i thank God most of them are alive to tell the story. This would not have happened if the power situation in Nigeria is positively stable.
