The “Be” Attitudes
- Be understanding to your enemies.
- Be loyal to your friends.
- Be strong enough to face the world each day.
- Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything all by yourself.
- Be generous as much as you can to those who need your help.
- Be frugal with what you need for yourself.
- Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.
- Be foolish enough to believe that miracles still happen.
- Be willing to shear your joys when and where necessary.
- Be willing to shear the sorrows of others even if it is by merely expressing your sympathy.
- Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
- Recognize that the roads that have bumps, corners, e.t.c. will always record the lowest accident rate.
- Be vigilant enough to know that every straight, neat, clean, smooth road but less busy leads to nowhere.
- Be courageous enough to know that ships are though save on the shore, but are meant to sail on the deepest sea.
- Be a follower when you are shrouded by mists of uncertainty.
- Be the last to criticize a colleague who fails because his comeback may surprise you.
- Be quick to encourage your subordinates as that may be all they actually need from you.
- Be sure of where your next step will fall, less you tumble naked and shamefully too.
- Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.
- Be worried about your going to, not your going through.
- Be going, to those who you love. Be loving to those who do not love you; they may still change.
- Always remember that life affords every human a certain level of opportunity.
- Don’t ever forget that there is little drop of greatness in every creature and that includes you.
- Be informed that you are the seed that will decide the harvest around you.
- Be informed that who or what you will become has nothing to do with who are your parents, where you came from or who you are related to. This is a function of who or what you make out of yourself.
- Whatever you do will matter some day. Will the girl/boy you are today be proud of the woman/man you will be tomorrow? Fortune favors the brave.
