BABCOCK RELEASES HER BATCH B LIST(June 14th,26th and July 5th 2012 candidates)

Candidates are hereby inform,ed to log on to www.babcock.edu.ng, click on admissions and select the batch B list, click on your own first and second choices for your name and read carefully the application process on what to do next.

2012/2013 UNDERGRADUATE PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS: BATCH B

As a result of the online Post-UTME screening exercises held on 14th June, 2012; 26th June, 2012; 5th July, 2012 at various centres in Nigeria, the candidates listed below have been offered Provisional Admissions into Babcock University ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, for the 2012/2013 academic session. Please note that this offer will be withdrawn if at any time it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the stipulated requirements.

Beginning from Friday, 10th August, 2012 each qualified candidate will:

1.  Check the e-mail address he/she submitted at the point of applying and  registering for the online screening examination and print out copies of their admission letter;
2.  Pay THE FULL or PARTIAL FEES (60% of full fees is semester fees) APPLICABLE TO THE COURSE OF STUDY FOR WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN ADMITTED.  Composite current fees schedule is available at www.babcock.edu.ng:  Select ‘Finance’ and click on ‘Session Fees’. Please make your payments through E-TRANZACT AT ANY BANK with E-TRANZACT PAYMENT FACILITIES; and add N10,000 for medical/psycho-social tests.  For Online Payment Process CLICK HERE.

(Candidates whose names appear on this admission list, but who scored less than 180 in the 2012 UTME examination need not pay the fees).

  • ORIENTATION for ALL new students: 20th-24th August, 2012 in the University

Sports Stadium.


  • CLASSES BEGIN ON Monday 3rd September, 2012 FOR ALL STUDENTS.


  • Report to their School Officer at the Wilfred Riley Auditorium in Babcock University 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during the registration period above, with the following documents:

(i) Two (2) copies of 2012 UTME result slips;
(ii) Four (4) recent passport-size photographs and three (3) copies of
birth certificates
(iii) Originals and three (3) photocopies of SSCE results or their equivalents;
(iv) Originals and (3) photocopies of e-tranzact acceptance fees and school fees payment receipts;
(v) Originals and (3) photocopies of evidence of payment for Babcock Post-UTME online application form.

Each awaiting-results candidate shall sign an undertaking to present acceptable SSCE results or their equivalents on or before matriculation, which holds on Tuesday 27th November, 2012.

  • Report to the Head of Department for academic clearance and to the Student Support Services Unit for medical/psycho-social screening.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Candidates who by-pass, or attempt to bypass any of the above processes run the risk of denied admission status;
  2. Candidates below sixteen (16) years old on 27th November, 2012 will not be considered for admission.

  • The last online screening for 2012/2013 admissions will hold on 16th August, 2012 in Babcock University, Abuja, Lagos and Owerri screening centres.  Screening begins at 9:00 a.m. at each centre.  Please see details on application, registration and online screenings at www.babcock.edu.ng.


  • All Batch A candidates who have paid the acceptance fees of N210,000 into e-tranzact platform are required to ensure that they transfer the acceptance fees into Babcock University account, by using the payment access information already sent to them. This completes the payment process. Batch A candidates who have not received their payment access information are requested to send requests for same to jimoho@babcock.edu.ng, using fresh e-mail addresses, with their names written in capitals (surnames first). Full or partial fees must be paid before registration is allowed and before accommodation is allocated.
